About the position

Do you have excellent skills within content marketing, SEO, social media and PPC and want an exciting opportunity? Perhaps you are a team lead at a local agency or a Marketing Manager on the client side. Does it sound tempting to lead and develop a Scandinavian content/SEO/PPC department? We’re now looking for a new Head of Performance!

Our current team consists of three specialists who work with content and SEO, they are located in Oslo, Stockholm and Aarhus. The new Head of Performance will be responsible for the personnel, development and the commercial aspect of the department (Profitability and budgets). It is also expected of you to be hands-on in client projects. This includes, but is not limited to, being a consultant and giving our clients advice or in some cases hands on in production within content marketing, SEO, social media and PPC.

The person we’re looking for has deep knowledge of content marketing, SEO, social media marketing and PPC. In addition to this, you’re able to contribute to the commercial development of the department and build strong relationships, both internally and with clients and partners. The Head of Performance reports to the Country Manager for Avidly Scandinavia and will be a part of Avidly Scandinavia management group.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will be to

Ensure that the department delivers high quality work that meets the customers’ expectations 

Ensure that all client projects are delivered according to deadlines and budget

Keep track of the profitability in the department

Support in sales calls and client growth

People management responsibilities including career/skill development, 1-1s and team support

Be a role model for the team and your colleagues

Drive and scale the department

You must have

Strategic and operational experience with content marketing and managing large client projects

Strategic and operational experience with SEO, social media marketing and PPC

Advanced English skills (oral and written)

Higher education

4+ Experience in similar role 

Structured and a person that gets things done

Independent and self-motivated

Motivated by working with others in large, interdisciplinary teams

Solution-oriented and creative

Possess leadership qualities

You should have

Experience in managing a team
