Paid Social Specialist


The Paid Social Specialist works within a cross-functional team, consisting of inbound marketing consultant, strategists and designers, and supports the advertising needs of the clients assigned to that team. You will work the team to ensure their paid campaigns are meeting client goals and expectations.

The role will strategise, implement and monitor effective social advertising campaigns, helping  acquire new leads and customers through online pay-per-click and cost-per-acquisition campaigns. It will also be responsible for managing the strategy, execution, and optimisation across channels.  

The right person for the position can manage several projects at once, priorities and strategies to deliver results, as well as contribute to the team and Avidly’s own marketing and development.

Your main focus will be the projects you are responsible for, these clients’ satisfaction and your ability to perform strategies that brings them beyond their goals. The paid media specialist takes initiative to improve results, has an eye for what works and doesn’t, as well as an ability have the keen interest in learning everything there is to know about paid media, in particular in relation to inbound strategies.


  • Manage the strategy and execution of PPC and social advertising campaigns
  • Measure and optimize our paid marketing using vendor-specific dashboards, Google Analytics, and HubSpot landing page sources reports.
  • Effectively communicate campaign performance to internal team members and clients
  • Collaborate with marketing teammates to maintain a consistent brand voice and message across all paid programs.
  • Craft and analyse landing pages and lead-gen forms for our content to distribute through relevant paid programs.
  • Proactively adjust PPC and/or social advertising campaigns to ensure performance goals are met
  • Write effective advertising copy and clearly define any visuals needed from the Avidly team.
  • Conduct audience research for social media advertising.
  • Monitor budget and adjust bids to gain better ROI, as well as monitoring campaign results and optimize click-through and conversion rates.
  • Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and potential new channels and strategies to keep Avidly at the forefront, including updates to social media marketing, attribution, and programmatic media buying. 


  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience.
  • 2-3 years of pay-per click and social advertising experience
  • HubSpot Inbound Marketing Certification
  • Excellent English skills and preferably familiar with one of the Nordic languages. 


Skills And Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of the various paid marketing channels and technologies, including paid search, retargeting, social network advertising (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and more).
  • Excellent communicator with ability to sell and convince. You will manage all relationships with vendors and ensure we get the most efficient cost possible.
  • Experience handling marketing budgets and forecasting/reporting results.
  • Google Fundamentally Certified
  • Strong advertising copywriting skills
  • Knowledge in both HubSpot and WordPress CMS platforms


Nice to have

  • Ability to develop inbound marketing strategy
  • Ability to perform research, analyse websites, document changes, and make decisions regarding optimisation approach.
  • Ability to distill actionable insight from inbound marketing research

* Position can be located in Helsinki, Stockholm, Aarhus or Oslo.
